As an artist and a designer, I had a very specific look and feel for my wedding. When my wife and I were planning our wedding, one of the most important aspects of our ceremony was the photography. Laura had known Neal for many many years and she was certain that he would fill our photography needs perfectly. While I had never met Neal, I deferred to my wife's heartfelt beliefs and better judgment. Laura arranged for a time to sit down with Neal prior to our wedding and go over her vision for our wedding. We drove down from Atlanta to Neal's studio in Macon and met with him to discuss our ideas. He listened to us with keen interest and took all of our suggestions to heart. Discussing with him what it is we had in mind was easy and, along with his experienced input, we left confident in our decision with full knowiledge that our wedding day pictures would be wonderful. When our wedding day arrived Neal was all over the ceremony and the reception taking pictures, but I don't think I ever actually saw him. His professional demeanor and grace permitted him to glide through the event taking pictures without ever actually becoming a part of the ceremony. All of our family photos and wedding party pictures that were taken before and after the ceremony were positioned with our preferences at the forefront. After only a week, Neal emailed us with the link to our wedding pictures. Laura and I were very excited when we sat down to look at the proofs online, at the time, however, we had no idea what we were about to experience. The pictures were magnificent, looking at them was like living the wedding and reception all over again. The angles from which he took the pictures, combined with their crisp colors and wonderful candid shots took our collective breaths away. We looked at the pictures over and over again that night, and for many more nights to come. When time came for us to order our wedding album it was extremely difficult to decide which pictures NOT to include because they were all excellent. For as long as Neal continues to take pictures, he will always have a client in our family. Thank you for capturing the essence of our special day.
