half frame triptych

I love this for two reasons.  I love the freedom and abandon of Mabry as she jumps.  I also love that I took it with a half broken, half frame camera that can only shoot 1/40th of a second at f2.8.

Tech notes:

Kodak BW400CN black and white (C-41 process) film shot with my Olympus EES-2 half frame camera.

babysitting

Here are three I took today while playing peak-a-boo.  My god daughter is very cute and full of energy.  They might be out of focus, but I think they capture her perfectly.

Tech Notes:

Fuji FP-3000B instant film shot with my Mamiya Universal.

on the move

Libby was a complete joy to photograph in her nursery.  I especially love the silhouette of her dad (I think) reflected in her eyes as she looks up at him.

Tech Notes:

Kodak Tri-X 400 black and white film shot with my Canon A2 and 50mm f1.4 (I think).

bedrooms

Here are two favorites from the Freeman home.  Their bedrooms made for the best locations.

blonde ink

Here are a few recent images from two shoots with Jenny.  Some are black and white film and some are instant prints.  More to come from these sessions.
